FINALLY, back to blogging. It's been way to long my friends, so let me fill you in on what I've been up to recently. School has been the death of me, never thought Fashion school would be so hard, at least first semester was a breeze. Other than school I just started interning with Toronto fashion designer Wendy Wong who runs both lines Maison and Beatrice Holloway. I'm loving every moment of this internship, the people I work with are great and the atmosphere is amazing.

It's also Toronto Fashion Week this week, so with only two days down I've been pretty busy with volunteering at different shows. Yesterday though I got a night off to attend a show for myself. I decided to choose Bustle clothing line, which is a menswear collection and it was amazing. I really do enjoy menswear over womens.

Anyways since this post has been extra long I won't bore you anymore. I'm going to try and post more and more from now on. This week I'll be posting more LGFW photos and some photography of mine from my holiday in Arizona. Well enjoy.

I'm surprised I have yet to make a post about these guys yet. Two Door Cinema Club has become one of my favourite bands in less than a week. These guys have been around for a while, I remember listening to some of their tracks last year and thinking they were quite good but never really took the time to care.
Last Monday they came to play a show in Toronto and I thought well what the heck why not... Showing up to the show, my ears were serenaded with a fantastic live show, these guys really know how to perform, sounding even BETTER than their recorded records.
Anyways this album has been on repeat for the past week and I don't think I will stop anytime soon, so check them out see if you like what you hear and if you get the chance to see them live, DO IT!

I spent my Halloween weekend in Montreal which by the end of the weekend I could have gone without it due to the pain I am still feeling from the non stop drinking. Sadly these are the only pictures from the weekend, Friday night only due to my flash for my film cam breaking Thursday night not allowing me to snap pictures and Saturday being an all out slop fest at Saintwoods, Kill Halloween. Where might I add, Erol Akan KILLED IT.
All in all amazing weekend and hope you enjoy the pictures I did capture.

Attended my second Aoki and first Calvin Harris concert on Sunday at the Government.
The night was a hot mess dancing for more than 4 hours straight.
I'm a sucker when it comes to merch tables at shows, so when my girl went to buy a Aoki shirt, I had to follow.
Its become my new favourite pj shirt and today running late too school I paired it with another go to item.
Don't think I'll be wearing it out again, these kind of shirts are made to hang up in your room or be worn while sleeping.

This definitely was not my favourite collection from Alice Temperley but the outfits above are covetable.
The chain-mail like tunics present a medieval feeling, while the wide brimmed hats produce something from another decade.
The clutches are also covetable.

Before I could remember to snap some pictures of my outfit, I was in my pjs watching Titanic. While switching the first tape to the second one... yes I still watch VHS, I actually prefer it over dvds. Anyways, I had the idea to post some pictures of the items I have purchased and received over the past week. You'll notice the colour trend that has been happening recently, Camel of course and Black. Recently all I've been buying is black.

1. H&M - I know your thinking why sandles in the winter? Well I'm heading to Arizona for the Christmas break and I'd thought these would look lovely while posing for pictures in the Grand Canyon.
2. & 3. Vintage - My mother digged these up in the basement the other night. I believe they were her moms, then hers and now mine. Love when such gems get passed down to me.
4. VV Boutique - Made a quick run to value today a found some goodies, yummy camel.
5. H&M - All black everything is what I said right?
6. Vintage - I'm not even sure what the store was called but on my way to Dufferin Mall I decided to walk into a little vintage store. Luckily I did.

Colour will be saved for special occasions, since I can't part with all the colour pieces in my wardrobe.

Reading my e-mail today was all very exciting when I opened a message from H&M.
It is true Lanvin has become one of the many designers to collaborate with H&M.
Lanvin has always been one of my favourite lines from France, with all it's beautiful creations.
The line will appear in H&M around November 23 in over 200 different stores around the world.
They have also choose to take a different road in previewing the line, instead of a lookbook they will be releasing a film on November 2nd feat. all the pieces.
I cannot wait to see the outcome of this collaboration.

I've been meaning to do a post on this movie since last weekend but have been super busy.
This movie literally blew my mind.
Other than it being excellently filmed and reconstructed from the original comics.
It was all around fun to watch especially because the characters were running around my neighbor hood and when I say my neighbor hood  I don't just mean Toronto.
Scott and Ramona themselves were chilling in parks, outside houses and on streets where I've experienced first kisses, being chased by the cops and much more.
Besides all that, the movie has an incredible soundtrack that I haven't stopped listening to for a week and probably won't stop soon.
Anyways all in all from a movie lover to other movie lovers, GET out and see this movie already!

Last Friday night I attended a LA Riots concert for work and play.
Not exactly the right outfit to be wearing for such an event but whatever I love looking way more decent then the girls in skin tight dresses that allow us to catch a glimpse of their privates every so often.
The night was a total blast, running into tons of long lost friends while making tons of new ones.
I only wish I had bought a camera to capture the excitement of the night.

Recently I've been obsessed with braiding my hair before bed so when I awake I have close to curly full hair.
Now that my hair is getting longer and longer each day I'm not sure how much longer I can keep it up because of the size and width my hair becomes.
Also I'm finally getting my hair professionally dyed back to black Saturday so hopefully this awful brown/blondish colour never comes back.
Oh god I am getting sick of dying my hair over and over again I just want my natural black asian hair back already!

The collection as a strong structure with layering of many pieces but still gives off a minimal feel as well.

The hints of pink and mustard add a little bit of colour to the minimal blacks, grey and navys.

The collection has eveng given a different feel to the childish sweater wrap I think we all used to run around the playground with.

Moved to the side as more of an accessorie, I'm differently going to try and work this into a future outfit of mine.

Differently could see myself buying everything piece of this collection if I could.

When the trend first came in on runways I couldn't believe it and promised myself I would never fall into the trend of clogs.
